writing copy, or come with a brand name in international markets is a tricky business. I know - I am. It is important that a native speaker translated copy of any checks before being released to the public. Sometimes, though, even the biggest brands get it wrong. Here are the top 20 translation (t) errors I encounter:

1 Pepsi is "alive with the Pepsi Generation" translated into Chinese became "Pepsi brings your ancestors back from the grave ".

2.Američki T-shirt maker in Miami printed shirts for the Spanish market which promoted the Pope's visit. Instead of "I saw the Pope" (el Papa), shirts read "I saw the potato" (la Papa ).

3.Big Mac originally sold in France under the name Gros OIP. In French, which translates as' big pimp'.
